Georgia Anne Muldrow & Dudley Perkins – “The Lighthouse” (Audio)

If there is one couple to be enamored by, that is the union between Georgia Anne Muldrow and Dudley Perkins. These two have been through the fire together and came out on the other side even stronger. Their music is based on spreading a higher consciousness, in what they call “real hood music” not in the typical sense but speaking to real stories of welfare, rape, abortion, and using these subjects in hope to lift and inspire people to be enlightened in gaining control in their lives.

The Lighthouse is a guiding light, allowing people to see through the darkness as the world about us is often filled with dark messages. Laced with future funk and soul, their grooves incorporate classic hip hop elements, that perfectly enhance Dudley‘s raps and Muldrow‘s soulful and edgy vocals.
