It’s wonderful when people in far away places create music that’s pulls influences from various sources. With Buttering Trio, known internally as the three-headed love monster, are based in Tel Aviv, Israel. Bringing their brand of future soul to the desert, Buttering Trio incorporate the native sounds of Israel with the kinnor harp, timbre (tambourine), and the goblet drum. The three musicians Rejoicer, Beno, and KerenDun combine loop-based beats with live instrumentation,  with the goal of their third album Threesome, be one of reflection, where they embraced their evolution, which in turn cultivated fluid songwriting. Recorded in Trixx Studios in Berlin, Fossil Studios in London, and Firehouse Studios in Tel Aviv, the group has fostered relationships on each continent, performing also at London’s Jazz Cafe, and at Fusion, Garbicz, and Strawberry music festivals.
