DJ Applejac – “Music Is My Main Squeeze” (Download)

AppleJac is what we call a crate digger. Hailing from Decatur, Georgia, and has been djing since a child of 10 years old, with Music Is My Main Squeeze AppleJac takes us on a musical journey of greats pulling from some of our legendary fathers of soul music, then laying them against beautiful beats a la Pete Rock, Dilla, Spinna, and the like. What’s so great about this album, which was never released, is that it was produced back in 2003, and it still holds strong today. It’s smooth as ever.

AppleJac is the radio host of the show “Jack of All Trades” on HandzOnRadio.fm and Mecca Radio, where he plays soulful house and disco classics. We’re going to hear a lot from AppleJac this year.
