Paul White Finds Inspiration from Hiatus Kaiyote’s “The Lung” (Unofficial Remix)

Hiatus Kaiyote, the Australian group known for hitting us with their “multi-dimensional polyrhythimic gangster shit” continues to inspire musicians and singers alike. Last year, DJ Spinna was inspired by “Breathing Underwater” and dropped his Galatic Soul Remix, that was eventually released as a single through BBE Records. Now we have another wave of vision applied to their single “The Lung” by British producer, Paul White, known largely for his innovative, sample-heavy approach to sounds that are often taken from unlikely sources. His first studio album was in 2007 and by 2011 he started working with Detroit-native rapper Danny Brown. From producing a few tracks on Danny’s sophomore album XXX to now being his main producer, with a total of ten tracks on Danny’s latest album Atrocity Exhibition — this lad from South London is a name you should be familiar with. He has also produced for Homeboy Sandman, Charli XCX, and Ahu. His sound is truly is ethereal experience; check out on “The Lung” below.
