UK Producer Eric Lau Returns with Third Album “Examples” [Audio]

Examples is London-based producer, Eric Lau‘s third album, and is a gorgeous collection of beat tracks that illustrate why he is such a revered producer/DJ. The scope in styles on Examples are wide, ranging through Hip Hop, Soul, Jazz, Funk & Brazilian beats instrumentals. The sophistication of each track makes it difficult to single out any one track in particular. From his debut release back in 2006 to now, Lau has grown greatly as an artist, and worked on production with a wide array of artists from Kaidi Tatham, Oddisee, Tawiah, Rahel, Fatima, Guilty Simpson, and Georgia Anne Muldrow to being featured on the Record Store Day Beat Challenge Trilogy with Tall Black Guy, and Kidkanevil, and traveling the globe with such luminaries as Erykah Badu, Robert Glasper, and Questlove. The added bonus is the last track, “Examples (Continuous Extended Mix).” Great work!
