Lauryn Hill – “Repercussions” (Audio)
We’ve been starving to hear new music from various artists and so far we’ve gotten comeback albums from Maxwell and Sade. There’s talk and speculation surrounding D’Angelo being in the lab and now, to get us even more excited, Lauryn Hill. The question that’s floating around is, is this tune “Repercussions“ new? Hard to decide, as how does one’s voice sound “new” – her voice, is what is it, right? But I will say, the production sounds new. Regardless of its authenticity, I give it the thumbs up and look forward to hearing more from Ms. Hill. Check it out and let me know what you think?

I don't care if she did it years ago or if she did it yesterday, I really love this new track.
She even plays a lil' with that "ain't that a bitc-" part with a lil' laugh.
(Then again, if she sings "Butterfly" and that's all she sings in the song, I would have been like "awww, ain't that cute")
Exactly! As far as I'm concerned, it's new to my ears and what I'm hearing, sounds bloody good! Bring it Lauryn! Put these fake wanna be you singers to bed.
loving it. She's been gone too long…
The voice sounds young, but how would this have flown under the radar for so long? The fact it's being released gives us plenty to get excited about.

Yes! Didn't we try to see her at Wingate to no avail! Lol

it sounds at least a decade old if not recorded around the time of miseducation…yet, it's lovely.
Yes, I agree, the vocals definitely sound dated – in that her voice sounds young, but glad to hear anything from Lauryn Hill. We miss her!
