Jay Electronica – “The Ghost of Christopher Wallace” (Download)

“The Ghost of Christopher Wallace” was all over the net yesterday, and again, Jay Electronica delivers! The only flaw with this tune is the featuring of Diddy. Yeah, I said it! The hype got far too many bars on the tape – half of the song!!  Jay Elect gave Diddy his shout out with “a bottle of Ciroc will turn a private jet to soul plane,” that should have been enough. I would have preferred another verse from Jay with Diddy on the fade out. Despite that, the tune is solid and Jay Elect’s command is as though Biggie was channeled for it. He declared on Twitter shortly after  download links went flying, “With the aid of Almighty God and the People, we are gonna turn this rap shit back on a trillion like it should be.” There’s no doubt in my mind that he’s not capable of doing this! We patiently wait…
