Lili K is “Magic” on New Single from Forthcoming Album [Video]

Wunderkind singer and songwriter Lili K, has seen good fortunes in a short space of time. Becoming the first Tidal Rising Artist after they debuted her album Ruby, led to Chicago based singer to perform at the Made in America , SXSW, Lollapalooza, Pitchfork, Summerfest, and CMJ music festivals. Though her PR are calling her next album a sophomore project, Lili K is no stranger to creating sonic ripples and has been recording since 2013, with The Lili K Band, creating a fusion of jazzy soulful hip hop. Rolling Stone, NPR, and Complex magazine named Lili K one of the bests artists for 2013. Her new album Planet Of Flowers, that is scheduled to release February 2017, is already being picked up by the likes of Beats 1 Radio. “Magic” the first single from Planet Of Flowers, is a message that speaks to liberating women where in the chorus hook Lili K sings, “A woman is magic, don’t try to dim her light /A woman gave you life.” The video’s imagery shows the many facets of the woman in style, size, and race, and embracing differences.
