Bjork’s MoMA Exhibition, New York City

Bjork
The Museum of Modern Art presents Icelandic singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and producer, Bjork in a retrospective multi-faceted exhibition, featuring the many layers to Bjork’s artistry. The exhibition draws from more than 20 years of her musical career, chronicling her work from Debut to Vulnicura (which released in January) through sound, visual, instruments, and costumes. The museum spreads her work throughout the various floors with soundscapes, videos, and previews to music and a special section on the third floor called “Songlines” presenting location-based audio experience with narrative provided by acclaimed Icelandic writer Sjón. If you’re in New York, the exhibit runs through June 7. Make sure you catch it!
