MADlines – Love Child EP (Audio)

North Western raised, and Bay Area based rapper MADlines, is smooth and unrelenting when she delivers her words. Starting out as a poet on the slam scene in Seattle, she formed a group called Canary Sing with Bay Area native vocalist Hollis Wong Wear. The two would generate great chemistry over beats, probably influencing a move to the other town, Oakland, California. With three years under her belt MADlines has established herself among the few hard working independent lyricists in the Bay Area. A self proclaimed, “West Coast girl with West Indian Roots,” she draws her musical inspiration from many genres, however it’s her Jamaican heritage that shows very proudly on her debut EP LOVE CHILD, produced by BeanOne of Seattle. Besides the debut single “Blockas (Don’t Block My Shine)” my favorite songs from it are “The Weapon” and “I-R-I-E” featuring Hollis. Keep an ear out for MADlines.
